Flat Bed Trailer
The Flat Bed Trailer is available from 45′ to 48′ in length. This trailer is also available with air ride. Loads are normally covered with a tarp (up to 8 ft tall). Materials are strapped or chained. Average legal acceptable weight is 46k.
Single Drop Trailer
This trailer is used to haul units that are too high for standard flat bed trailers to transport safely down the highway. Single Drop Trailers (a.k.a. Step Deck Trailers) can transport pieces up to 10′ high and are also available in air ride. Average legal acceptable weight is 46k.
Double Drop Trailer
This trailer is used to haul material that is too high for a standard Flat Bed Trailer to transport down highways and roads safely. The Double-Drop Trailer can transport units up to 50′ in length and 11’6″ in height. This trailer is available with Air Ride. We can also arrange transportation for shipments greater than 12′ high. Average legal acceptable weight is 40k.
Detachable Trailer
This trailer detaches from the front to allow a piece of equipment to be driven on and off the trailer. The Detachable Trailer can handle equipment up to 55 tons and air ride is also available in this type of trailer. Most of the time you will see this type of trailer hauling construction equipment, but this trailer can also be used for the movement of heavy or oversized pieces of pre-cast concrete, structural steel, or machinery. Average legal acceptable weight is 44k although units with additional axles can handle up to 75k.
Tilt Trailer
This trailer is used for the loading and unloading of freight, fork lifts, containers or for rigging to ground level. The Tilt Trailer is also equipped with a 10-ton winch that can assist with loading or unloading. A Tilt Trailer can be used to deliver all terrain lifts, construction equipment, and other vehicles from point A to point B without the need for a crane to load or unload. Average legal acceptable weight is 44k.
